Krista loves travelling and enjoys exploring unusual, non-touristy things, so from her point of view everybody should have a chance to witness alternative places in a foreign country.  Some of the countries she fell in love while travelling were Venezuela and Norway. Jungle and mountains always take her breath away, even on those occasions when it’s dangerous. Krista gets thrilled if it’s raining and if the weathers really windy and cloudy, she could walk for hours and feels neither chilliness nor exhaustion.

Nature is not the only love of her life. Krista loves art and spends a lot of time learning about her favourite artists. She also makes earrings and brooches which is a small part of her specialities. Music also plays an important role in Krista’s life; she has been playing a Latvian wooden flute since the age of six. Krista graduated The University of Latvia where she got a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies – eastern cultures and Arabic language. Because she has seen different cultures and loves meeting new people from all around the world, Krista will be more than happy to show you the alternative Riga!
