Living in the Baltic’s since 2005 he has done all kinds of things, from painting churches and street scenes of Riga and Tallinn, to working with animation studios, working at a bar and running a hostel. Some time during this he decided to start developing ‘Alternative tourism’ in Riga. He is still not sure what that exactly means but thinks it has something to do with escaping Old Towns, visiting hidden gems, using bicycles and destroying the conventions of boring tours and guides.

Grew up originally in England, he studied arts and finally received a BA in animation. After his studies he travelled around Europe where Riga eventually became his home. A lover of music, people and smiling he tries his best to find nice cozy places to enjoy all 3. Food and drink comes high on his priorities.
